Cook / Front of House
Location: Hearts Delight Garden Centre, Lawford
Position: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £11.00–£16.00 per hour
Working Pattern
Week 1: 3–4 weekdays
Week 2: 3 weekdays & weekend
About the Role
We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and hardworking person to join our busy garden centre café. This varied role involves working across both the kitchen and front of house.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and serving breakfasts and lunches
- Baking homemade cakes and scones
- Preparing hot drinks and barista coffees
- Welcoming and serving customers
- Taking payments and assisting front of house
- Completing food safety records
- Clearing tables, washing up and replenishing stock
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness

- A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work across kitchen and front of house
- Ability to work well under pressure
